  • Leather Bracelet with snap buttons
  • 2 Natural Stone Strands
  • White thread for beading

What to do:

Mark a 20″ strand of the thread and cut it. Start by threading the end of the strand through the first hole and out three beads or as per the width of the bracelet.

Put the thread in the opposite hole and secure it with a knot.

Repeat the process till you reach the end of the bracelet.

Secure the strand with a double knot on the back of the leather.

DIY Watercolor-Inspired Pillows

  • White cotton toss pillows (as per the requirement)
  • Sharpies of different colors
  • Rubbing alcohol
  • Cotton buds

What to do:

Draw a design of yours or your Mom’s liking on your pillow with sharpies.

Dip a cotton bud with rubbing alcohol, and pat it on your design.

Once colors are well blended, also trace an outline around the shape with the cotton bud.

Put the pillows in the dryer for 10-15 minutes to set the dye properly.

DIY Salt & Sugar Scrub

  • Mason jar
  • 1 cup white or evaporated cane sugar and raw sugar
  • 1 cup Sea salt
  • 1/4 to 1/2 cup Grapeseed Oil
  • 1 tsp Vitamin E oil
  • 10 to 15 drops Essential oils for scent
  • Decorative Materials:
  • Glue gun
  • Construction paper
  • Sticky Label
  • Ribbon

What to do:

Mix all the ingredients together well. For a little variety, you can mix your scrubs differently as per the texture required.

Use ribbon as trim for the lid and paste it with the help of glue gun on the lid.

You can also include a list of ingredients in case of allergies at the back of the jar and also the shelf life of the scrub which is 3 to 6 months.

Stick a label with your adorable message written on it.

DIY Pleated Bead Necklace

Materials:

  • Fabric (striped pattern will look great)
  • Large Round Crystal Beads
  • Scissors
  • Thread
  • Needle

What to do:

Cut a strip by the length of your fabric twice as wide as your beads. If the beads are about 1/2 inch in diameter, cut the strip 1 inch thick.

Iron your strip. Leave a few inches at the end, fold the strip into two pleats and stitch through.

Put the bead through the needle and stitch to the fabric.

Add two more pleats at the other end of the bead and stitch again.

Then stitch back through both sets of pleats and the bead.

Continue until you have required beads. If the fabric is short you can add a strip at the ends of the beads for the knot.

Your necklace is ready.

DIY Kitchen Hand Towels

Materials:

  • Flour sack towel
  • Iron-on transfer paper
  • Iron

What to do:

Chose the quote you want to use.

Carefully follow the printing instructions on the package of the Iron-on transfer paper.

Select the reverse or mirror image on your printer for a regular file. Test before transferring on the new sack towels to make sure that the alphabets are readable.

Once the ink is completely dry, cut out the quote but leave a 1/8-inch border around the design.

Place the transfer quote side down on the towel where you want the quote printed.

Iron the quote onto the towel according to the instructions.

Allow the fabric to cool down completely. Peel off the paper on the back properly.

DIY Pedicure Jar

Materials:

  • Big sized Mason jar
  • Nail files
  • Mani/Pedi Kit (Nail clippers, scissors, cuticle care, and other things)
  • Nail Polish
  • Cotton balls and Q-tips
  • Washi Tape
  • Free Printable Pedicure Jar Gift Tags
  • Tissue Paper

What to do:

Print the tag and paste it on the jar with a fun colored washy tape.

You can also print the tags on an adhesive paper for a sticker-like tag.

Then fill the jar with all your pedicure items.

If you have a lot of items or a smaller jar, you may not need the tissue as filler in the bottom. Otherwise, stuff the bottom of the jar with tissue paper and then put the items in it.

You can use other decorative items like sticky beads and ribbons to make it look more beautiful.
