After the huge success of the iPhone 15 Pro, Apple is all set to launch the next “Pro” in line – the iPhone 16 Pro. Like every September, smartphone enthusiasts are excited to know what features Apple will unveil in this new model. As per experts, the iPhone 16 Pro is going to have significant upgrades in terms of camera, battery, display, and other aspects, along with several new features.

Screen size
The screen size is one of the most significant aspects where the iPhone 16 Pro is expected to get an upgrade. As per reports, the iPhone 16 Pro will have a screen that is 6.27 inches (rounded up to 6.3 inches) in size.

Along with this, there have also been a lot of speculations about the changes in the bezel (the border around the screen) of the iPhone 16 Pro. As per reports, the iPhone 16 Pro and the iPhone 16 Pro Max are expected to have the thinnest bezels of any smartphone yet. For this, Apple is said to be using the Border Reduction Structure (BRS) technology, which makes it easier to reduce the bezel size without affecting the performance of the display.

Phone dimensions
Since the iPhone 16 Pro is expected to have a bigger screen, its other dimensions will also differ from those of its predecessor. While it may maintain the same thickness (8.25 mm) as the iPhone 15 Pro, the other dimensions that can see a change (an increase, in fact), are the phone’s height, width, and weight. The iPhone 16 Pro is expected to have a height of 149.6 mm and a width of 71.45 mm, and it might weigh around 194 grams.

Colors
A key specification of the iPhones that excites almost all Apple enthusiasts before the launch of new models is the color of the smartphones. The Pro models in particular seem to be more exciting since they come with more distinctive and deep color options. Continuing this trend, the iPhone 16 Pro is expected to be available in black, white (or silver), gray (Natural Titanium), and brand-new Desert Titanium colors. The Desert Titanium color is said to be a shade of gold.

Display technology
The iPhone 16 Pro models are also expected to have an impressive display with superior brightness. To make this possible, Apple is reportedly using Samsung’s M14 OLED panel, which also improves the longevity of the display. As per reports, the display of the iPhone 16 Pro models can have up to 1,200 nits of SDR brightness, which is about 20% more than what the current iPhone models offer. Some rumors also suggest that the new iPhone 16 models, including the iPhone 16 Pro, could have a new micro-lens OLED display. This display will contribute to reducing power consumption and improving the battery life of the phones.

Buttons
While the iPhone 16 Pro is expected to retain the power, volume, and Action buttons of the iPhone 15 Pro, it is also reportedly having a new mechanical button. This new button is expectedly called the Capture button and will have camera-related functions. Also, this button will be located on the same side as the power button and will respond to both pressure and touch actions. Lightly pressing the Capture button will autofocus the camera and a harder press will click a photo. Further, swiping left and right on the button will zoom in and zoom out the camera. Apart from this, the Capture button might also have a gesture to switch from picture mode to video mode.

Camera
One of the most noteworthy updates that the iPhone 16 Pro camera might be getting is the anti-reflective optical coating. A common issue that a lot of users of the iPhone 15 Pro models have faced with their cameras, is the appearance of light streaks and halos when bright light sources are being captured in the lens. The new anti-reflective optical coating will solve this problem by cutting down lens flares and ghosting in the camera. Along with that, the iPhone 16 Pro models might also feature a 48 MP Ultra Wide camera.

Battery and charging
In terms of battery life, the expectations are quite high for the iPhone 16 Pro models. The phones are expected to use stacked battery technology, which will improve their battery life. The iPhone 16 Pro is also expected to have a 3,577 mAh battery, which is an increase of more than 9% from the iPhone 15 Pro battery rating. To add to that, the iPhone 16 Pro models are also expected to support 40W wired charging, which will charge the batteries quickly.

Along with the features and specs, there have also been speculations about the pricing of the new iPhone 16 Pro. As per reports, the device might be priced at around $1,099.
